The Kinosao Lake Trail is a serene 7 km loop through tall forest to one of the park's prettiest lakes, while Bald Hill offers spectacular escarpment views.

One of Riding Mountain National Park's most dramatic trails, Gorge Creek winds through a stunning gorge carved thousands of years ago by glacial meltwater. The trail follows the creek past exposed bedrock walls, ancient forest, and cascading waterfalls — a geological story millions of years in the making visible in every rock face. The trail starts near Dauphin and rewards hikers with one of the most scenically unique experiences in all of Manitoba.

The trail winds through tall boreal and mixed forest before arriving at the tranquil shores of Moon Lake — a small, pristine lake reflecting the forest canopy in its mirror-calm water. Moose are frequently spotted feeding along the lakeshore, especially in the early morning hours.

🌿 Duck Mountain Provincial Park – Blue Lakes & Boreal Loops

About 60 km northwest of Dauphin, Duck Mountain Provincial Park is a hidden wilderness gem on the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border. The Blue Lakes Trail (5.3 km) is the park's crown jewel — a loop to the spring-fed East and West Blue Lakes, whose crystal-clear, vivid blue waters shimmer among dense boreal forest. Moose, black bears, and woodland caribou roam the park's 30+ km of trails, making every hike a genuine wildlife adventure.
